Existing Users:

  • Select Login in upper right corner of home page.
  • Enter your City of Oakland Username and Password

First Time Users:

  • Select Login in upper right corner of home page
  • Enter your City of Oakland Username and Password
  • Enter remaining required fields: Telephone, Select Site from drop down list, Address1, City, State, Zip code.
  • You will be notified when your account has been approved

 

A Mail & Outsourced Question

ITD no longer provides PO’s on behalf of any department to pay vendors for projects that needs be outsourced.

  • Starting July 15th, 2025, we have a new process for all outsourced print and outsourced mail projects, and here's how it will work going forward:
  1. Submit request: Requester submits through the Print Portal.
  2. Get quote: The Print Shop will get quote from City Print or Abacus.
  3. Receive quote: Print Shop will forward quote to requester.
  4. Create PO: Requester will create Purchase Order (CPO info below for Abacus and City Print).
  5. Start project: Once Print Shop receives proof of an approved PO, project can move forward.

The CPO number for the vendor will be provided upon your request for the mailing and outsourced project services.

Project ETA and instructions for banners, oversize posters, specialized printing & signs, etc...:

  1.  After you logged in on print service website, please choose, “Printing and Copying”.
  2. Select and click on, “I don’t see my category or outsourced project.”
  3. You have the option to write the details about your project in the finishing “Enter details...” box.
  4. Once finished entering all the necessary selections and attaching the document, you may submit the order.
  5. Please be aware all projects must be designed as the desired size. For the project to be completed, shipped, and meet the deadline, and the artwork should be submitted print ready.                                                                                                    * In a special case the artwork will be recreated as long as the hard copy is provided.
  6. Your order may take 7 to 10 business days or more depending on the types of the project submitted.
  7. Though we will not require funding code no more, the system will still use either the default or the actual account number in order to place your order.
  8. The funding code will not be used towards your projects, since we have the new system in place.
  9. Once the order is submitted, I will request a quote from the vendor on contract with the City of Oakland, and then I will forward the quote via email.

Project ETA and how to place your order for notices that requires mailing:

  1. Please place two different orders:
    1. One for in-house printing for the notices that will be printed in-house and taken to the mail house.
    2. The second order will be used for the outsourced mailing services to request a quote from a vendor. Please follow the instructions below to submit your order.
  2. After you logged in on print service website, please choose “Printing and Copying”.

    1. It may take 1 to 3 days for Reprographics Shop to print the notices.
    2. It may take 2 to 3 days for City Print & Mail Services to fold, stuff, and mail out the notices.
    3. It may take 2 to 3 weeks, depending on stock availability for Print Shop-Edgewater to print the envelopes.

·        * We advise to pre-order the envelopes to be printed and keep them stored to prevent delays when rushed notices must go out within a short period of time.

Unless DIRECTLY specified by the requesting department for charges to be billed against a specific funding code, no transfer of monies to ITD is necessary as costs are absorbed via internal service funds (“ISF”).
